Andy Rodriguez-McCradic (Executive
Producer, Writer/Director; Line Producer, Phoenix.) Andy has been
professionally writing for 30 years beginning in 1977, and
professionally producing television since 1983 and film since 1994.
He has distinguished himself as an independent moviemaker through
not only producing quality films, but by developing an extensive
distribution network, with distributors in England, Tokyo, Amsterdam
and Diamond Comics Distribution in Baltimore. Currently over 15 New
Phoenix Filmworks productions are being sold in 37 countries on five
continents, a feat largely unmatched in America by any true
independent filmmaker.
Rodriguez-McCradic is also a Rocky Mountain Emmy winner, 1992
(competition held in 9 western states), a regional version of the
national Emmys, sanctioned by the National Academy of Television
Arts and Sciences in Hollywood.
Prior to film directing in 1994, Rodriguez-McCradic had produced
1100 newscasts for NBC affiliates in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona,
and had also produced and directed approximately 170 corporate
videos for the City of Phoenix, America West Airlines and other
professional business and municipalities from the span from
1988-1994. Rodriguez-McCradic has also been a national network TV
correspondent, radio show host, newsmagazine columnist, and college
football player for Arizona State University.
